The forest management certification is a voluntary process.
The certificate is granted following an audit carried out by independent experts. During the process, which also includes field visits, the auditors are checking compliance with the principles for responsible forest management. The certificate is only awarded for a period of 5 years, and it also involves annual monitoring in order to check compliance.
In addition to forest certification, we are always open to assessments of our operations. From here you can download the latest reports and conclusions.
The forest management certification process also requires open dialogue with the stakeholders important for the forests – local communities, authorities, economic agents and others. This means stakeholders can, at any moment, come up with recommendations and opinions regarding the way the company implements its forest management.
